Classic St Louis ribs with Saucesome BBQ Sauce

Classic St Louis ribs with Saucesome BBQ Sauce

Double the flavor with a dry rub and a sweet glossy sauced finish on these perfectly smoked wings.

Ingredients:

  1. Preheat a smoker to 250f. We recommend using a fruit wood like cherry or apple to pair with pork.
  2. Prepare the ribs by removing the membrane from the back, and pat dry with a paper towel.
  3. Dust the bone side with a light amount of Red seasoning, then flip the rack over.
  4. Coat the rack well with Red seasoning, making sure all sides are evenly coated, then go over the top with a layer of Sweet BBQ rub. Let ribs sit and 'sweat' for 15-20 mins to allow the seasoning to adhere.
  5. In a spray bottle, combine water and cider vinegar. Set aside.
  6. Place the ribs in the smoker and cook for three hours, spritzing with the cider vinegar mixture every 25-30 minutes.
  7. While the ribs cook, prepare the butter by stirring through the Hot Honey mix until combined.
  8. After three hours, slather the butter across the top of the ribs, then wrap them tightly in foil (a double layer is best) and put them back on the smoker for a further 1.5 hours.
  9. Carefully unwrap the ribs and discard the foil.
  10. Paint the top of the ribs with Saucesome sauce, then cook a further 10-15 minutes to set.

Note: This recipe works best with a combo of seasonings to layer flavor. We recommend choosing either our all-purpose Red or Cajun seasoning to pair with the Sweet BBQ.
